The essence of the Bursary Scheme is that the money will be used by woodturners, already competent, to acquire new skills or equipment which would enable them to make a significant step into a new, more innovative, hopefully more profitable, level of woodturning. So, in addition to giving evidence of present skills, a viable plan of action to achieve defined goals must be presented.
